"Night of the Comet"   Return to Makeup Effects Index

The cult classic "Night of the Comet" required David Miller and crew to design and create skeletal zombie makeups for some of the key cast members that were affected by fallout from the comet.    All of the makeups were designed around the basic idea of trying to make the characters look as if they were deteriorating from within.  This became the basic look for zombie characters  in many films that followed.
